4. Good Friday

Good Friday is the day, observed to commemorate the passion, or suffering on the cross of Jesus Christ. It is observed on the Friday before Easter Sunday.              

5. Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti

Observed on 14 April every year Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti or Bhim Jayanti is a day celebrated to commemorate the birthday of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian constitution and social reformer.

6. Ram Navami

Ram Navami is a festival, celebrated to honor the birth of Shri Ram, the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Rama Navami also marks the end of the 9-day Chaitra-Navratri celebrations.

7. Id-Ul-Fitr (Ramzan Id)

Id-Ul-Fitr (Ramzan Id) is a festival celebrated to mark the end of the holy month Ramzan. The day signifies the breaking of a month-long fast and is decided after the appearance of the crescent moon.

8. Bakri Id

Also known as the festival of sacrifice, Bakr Id is a gazetted holiday in India which is celebrated to commemorate the sacrifice of the Prophet, who, willingly agreed to sacrifice his son at the behest of God.
